Refund & Cancellation

Welcome to Wishlist Calendar!

This refund policy establishes the conditions under which refunds may be requested or processed within the Wishlist Calendar platform. Due to the nature of the service, where payments made are voluntary contributions intended to support the personal wishes of Creators, the general rule is that all payments are considered final and non-refundable, except in the cases expressly provided for below.

1. NON-REFUNDABLE CONTRIBUTIONS

All payments made by Fans (also referred to as Gifters) through the Wishlist Calendar platform are voluntary and non-refundable contributions. These contributions do not constitute the purchase of goods, services, digital products, or the contracting of any type of tangible or intangible service. The sole purpose of payments is to support, in good faith, the personal wishes, activities, or objectives published in the calendars of the Creators (Wishers), and are made with the explicit understanding that there is no guarantee of execution or consideration. Therefore, by making a payment on the platform, the user expressly agrees to waive any claim for reimbursement, except in the exceptional cases provided for in this clause.

2. REFUNDS ISSUED BY CREATORS

Exceptionally, a Creator may issue a refund to a Fan, provided that the following conditions are met:

  • a) The Fan's request must be addressed directly to the Creator responsible for the wish list benefiting from the payment and include a legitimate reason justifying the request.
  • b) The Creator may decide, in its sole discretion and without obligation, whether or not to issue the requested refund.
  • c) A refund can only be issued if the corresponding amount has not yet been paid by Stripe to the Creator. Once the payment has been settled and transferred to the Creator's bank account, the refund cannot be made through the platform.

Wishlist Calendar is not involved in this direct relationship between the Fan and the Creator and has no responsibility for the decision to grant or deny such a request.

3. REFUNDS FOR FRAUDULENT TRANSACTIONS

Wishlist Calendar reserves the right to intervene directly and issue refunds in exceptional cases where there is clear and verifiable evidence that a transaction has been made fraudulently, without the consent of the payment method holder or through the unauthorized use of payment methods. In such cases, Wishlist Calendar will handle the verification process and, if appropriate, process the refund directly to the original payment method.

4. REFUND PROCESS

When a Creator authorizes a valid refund within the time frame allowed for this purpose:

  • a) The refund is processed immediately after it is initiated by the Creator.
  • b) The amount will be refunded to the original payment method used in the transaction.
  • c) The estimated time for receipt of the refund ranges from five (5) to ten (10) business days, depending on the processing times and policies of the payment provider used by the platform (Stripe). Wishlist Calendar does not guarantee exact timeframes and cannot expedite the bank processing of such refunds.

5. CONTACTING CREATORS FOR REFUND REQUESTS

Fans who wish to make a refund request for justified reasons are advised to contact the Creator directly before making the contribution. This prior communication allows the Fan to know the specific conditions under which the Creator might consider a refund request, ensuring transparency and avoiding misunderstandings. Wishlist Calendar does not act as an intermediary in this communication and assumes no responsibility for its outcome.

6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR REFUNDS

Wishlist Calendar does not guarantee the possibility of obtaining refunds and will not be liable to Fans for any non-refunded payments, as these constitute voluntary contributions subject to the Fan's sole discretion. By using the platform and making a financial contribution, the user acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these conditions, expressly waiving any claim for a refund outside the cases expressly established in this clause.

7. CHANGES TO THE REFUND POLICY

Wishlist Calendar reserves the right to modify, update, or revise this refund policy at any time, at its sole discretion. Any changes will be duly notified by publication on the website and will take effect on the date indicated in the updated version. Users are advised to review this section periodically to stay informed of any changes. Continued use of the platform after the changes take effect will constitute express acceptance of the changes. If a user does not agree with the changes made, they must refrain from continuing to use the services of Wishlist Calendar.
